After a hard day burning villages and plundering loot, every Viking and Valkyrie wants nothing more than to rest their weary heads on soft pillows, climb between crisp cotton sheets and set off on a longship to the Land of Nod.
With that in mind (and a nod to our Norwegian-heritage neighborhood here in Ballard), Monocol Labs has created the Burn, Pillage, and Beyond sheet set. From a Monocol original design and lovingly hand screenprinted, this light blue cotton sheet set fits a Full size bed and includes:
2 Matching His and Hers Viking Helmet Pillow Cases
1 Viking Longship Top Sheet (full size)
1 Unprinted Fitted Sheet (full size)
These sheets are so great you think you died and went to Valhalla!

Mt. Plushmore feat. Cary Grant:
North by Pacific Northwest Edition
The best way to safely renact your favorite scenes from one of Hitchcock's masterpieces, the Mt. Plushmore Cary Grant edition allows you to mimic along with Roger Thornhill's most death-defying scenes without leaving your own futon, falling off a cliff, or being arrested. 9x12" plush tributes to patriotic geography and cinematic mastery, Mt. Plushmore pillows are lovingly hand screened on grey pinstripe suiting with vintage 50's plaid backing. Our errant 3x6" plush hero, Cary Grant as Roger Thornhill, features a hand cut and screened suit on organic cotton twill.
Gwynne recommends renacting one of her favorite scenes:
(Eva Marie Saint): "I'm a big girl..."
Cary Grant: "Yeah and in all the right places, too."

Plusharoid
Featured in "Fort" at the Anne Bonny in September 2007.
We here at Monocol remember a time before digital cameras when the only instant gratification photography was the flapping of Polaroid pictures. We miss those days (and also the days before we realized shaking the film did nothing to help quicken exposing your image). The Plusharoid is a 12x12x16" SX-70 style camera. Like all SX-70s, film is hard to find and expensive to purchase for the Plusharoid, but we hear its all the rage with the indie kids ...
Intelligent Design: Darwin and Finchy
Life's hard and times are tough when you're a 21st Century thinker in 1800's England. Darwin is limited edition hand screened 12x16" pillow with, what else, but his trusty Finchy to keep him company in his ostracization and personal religious-scientific crisis. Use him to deflect the blows of Christian Scientist or to cobble the knees of non-evolution minded friends -- defense or offense? Religion or Science? You decide.
